5 "Hole in the Wall" Eats & Drinks Edition

Hello everyone! So I have been looking around online at different "hole in the walls" and to my surprise, I didn't see any of my favorites. Well that has to change! Below, in no particular order, you will see some yummy eats and tasty drinks. I guarantee you will find something for your taste-buds at each of these spots. Check them out when you're in town.

Annies

Address: 10821 S Post Oak Rd, Houston, TX 77035

You can't go wrong with Annies! Breakfast or lunch, they got your back. It's usually a hard decision for me when I come here for breakfast since everything is pretty much delicious. Their waffles and pancakes are always fluffy and their coffee hits the spot! I can't forget the biscuits and gravy. Oh, the deliciousness! Now for lunch, they just have burgers and fries! The single with cheese and jalapenos is the usual and their special sauce is perfect. Make sure to try a brownie when you stop by, perfect during breakfast or lunch!

Beef & Bun

Address: 4418 W Fuqua St, Houston, TX 77045

I think I have tried everything here and everything is delicious! The rib basket is great here and the ribs are huge. Make sure to ask for extra BBQ sauce. (It's free, yay!) My usual is a chopped beef po' boy with cheese basket which is also very yummy. Now to drink, you have to try their Delaware punch! The lemonade is good as well but that Delaware punch is amazing!

Cue's Burgers

Address: 10423 S Post Oak Rd, Houston, TX 77035

I recently found out about this place last year, and I am ashamed I didn't know about it before as a local but lets cut to the chase...Cues is a MUST.  Not only is their food delicious, their portions are huge. Don't let the name fool  you, their menu goes way beyond burgers. For breakfast, the chicken and waffle has to be my favorite breakfast item. They have a mini breakfast menu if large portions are not your thing. For lunch, the list goes on and on, but a couple favorites are the avocado bacon burger and the catfish dinner.

Los Potrillo

Address: 15622 S Post Oak Rd #4, Houston, TX 77053

The food here is authentic Mexican food. There is really so much to choose from! Come here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you won't be disappointed. For breakfast, their barbacoa is pretty unique and full of flavor. I have not tasted barbacoa so delicious anywhere else honestly. For lunch, the flautas are my favorite and they actually use the larger tortillas which is why I stand by the authenticity of this place. For dinner, you can't go wrong with their mini tacos and charro beans. Now to my favorite part, so many who know me know that I love a good michelada. If micheladas are your cup of tea...uhm I mean beer then you have to try Potrillos. This place has the best michelada sauce and the best part is they sell it too, if you want to make them at home.

El Rojo Loco

Address: 2833 Collingsworth St, Houston, TX 77026

This hot spot offers Mexican food, Tex Mex and seafood. They are known for their tacos rojos (red tacos) which are super yummy. Definitely a must try item. If you are here for breakfast, the huevos divorciados are the best. Don't let the two salsas scare you, they are not that spicy. If salsa just isn't your thing, the pancakes are super fluffy, topped with strawberries and whipped cream. SO GOOD!

If you're a local and haven't tried all these spots, your missing out! &If you are coming to visit Houston make sure to try these yummy eats and drinks. Let me know what you think!
